On day 3 of the 2019 Yeti Tribe Gathering, we rode Tommy Knocker Trail Telluride — and it instantly became my favorite trail in Telluride, CO. It was an absolute blast!
Our Last Day at the 2019 Yeti Tribe Gathering
It was our last day at the 2019 Yeti Tribe Gathering in Telluride, CO — and we were determined to squeeze in one more run on Tommy Knocker Trail Telluride before heading home. We had breakfast with our Yeti tribe friends at 7:30 a.m., said our goodbyes, and hit the trail.
Tommy Knocker Trail Telluride: Why It’s a Must-Ride
Trent and I wanted to do more riding in Telluride before we headed out. So we rode the Valley Floor trail and San Miguel River trail to reach the Gondola lift, then dropped into Tommy Knocker Trail Telluride.
The trail was so much FUN! Why? Because it was such a long and super smooth downhill trail. With my speed, it was almost 20 minutes of full joy riding downhill back to the gondola lift. The trail is not technical but with the fast speed and how flowy it is, I felt like I was riding on my own personal roller coaster. Besides that, the view was stunning. We love it so much so we did the total of 4 laps on that trail. If you have a limited time to stay in Telluride, Tommy Knocker trail is the trail that you should set aside your time for!

Picking Up Tsali in Ouray, CO
We left Telluride around 2.30 pm. The pick-up time for Tsali was at 5 pm. Therefore, we took a chance to take a shower at Conoco Gas Station and Cabin in Ouray, CO. It costed $7/person.

Then we headed to pick our baby boy up from Ouray Dog Company. Tsali was very happy to see us and he smelled great as well. (We had him groomed before we picked him up.) All of us smelled great and felt happy in our little tiny Honda element!

Where to Eat Near Telluride?
After picking up Tsali, we headed to Montrose, CO. We stopped to have dinner at Mi Mexico. I never had mushroom ceviche before. It was the first time for me to have it and it was surprisingly delicious. The food there was amazing!
